Assoc. Prof. Shengyong Ding
City University of Macau, China
Assoc. Prof. Shengyong Ding earned his PhD in Computer Applications from Sun Yat-sen University in 2015. His research focuses on the integrated innovation of computer vision and large-model technologies, targeting core challenges including pose estimation, 3D reconstruction & generation, and spatial navigation. His research portfolio covers 3D Avatar (few-shot high-fidelity human avatar reconstruction), Video3D (integration of video generation and 3D vision), as well as multi-agent content generation. Meanwhile, he has actively promoted the industrial translation of fundamental research outcomes into practical applications across multiple sectors: education (e.g., student attention monitoring and analysis), healthcare (traditional Chinese medicine inheritance, vestibular disorder treatment), and intelligent traffic inspection.
